A taste of Okinawan heritage
All things Okinawan will be celebrated at the 26th annual Okinawan Festival this weekend. That means pig’s feet soup, yakisoba, Okinawan soba, shoyu pork, Okidog (hot dog and chili, wrapped in a tortilla with shredded shoyu pork and lettuce), andagi, and Andadog (hot dog on a stick, dipped in andagi batter and deep-fried). OINK! Yes, that’s just the food.
